Who sponsors the Consumer Atlas research?

Consumer Atlas is proprietary to and conducted by DBM Consultants, a professional and fully accredited market research company based in Melbourne, Australia. Consumer Atlas is conducted in collaboration with Monash University.

How was I selected for this research?

You were asked to participate in one of three ways: over the phone, through our internal DBM contact list (known as DBM Connect) or through our external research panel providers. We do this to ensure proper representation of the Australian population.

How do I know that my responses will be kept confidential?

DBM Consultants is a proud member of the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMSRO), and is accordingly bound by the Privacy Act. For more information on how DBM Consultants respects and upholds your rights to privacy, please head to our Privacy Policy page here.

What happens to my responses in your survey?

All your responses are stored and processed in Melbourne, Australia. In presenting results, no individual will be identified, and no contact details will be passed on. That is, results and findings will only be based on an accumulative level.

What is the benefit for me in completing your research?

Your responses will help influence how banks can improve their service to their customers as well as for relevant government bodies to evaluate how banks are performing in their customers’ point of view.

Additionally, if you were initially called over the phone or are a part of the DBM contact list and then complete the online component of the Consumer Atlas survey, you will be entered into the prize draw, subject to you qualifying and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the competition. The total prize is $1,000 for the winner.

How did you get my email address?

When you agreed to participate in the research, you had given us your email address in order for us to send you the invitation and link to the online survey. If you received an invitation from QOR, this means you joined the QOR Panel using that email address.

Can I complete this survey on my mobile phone?

Due to the survey functionality, we would recommend completing the survey on your laptop or tablet, rather than on your mobile phone. However, should you feel the need to change devices, the survey will save your progress.

How long does the online survey take?

The average completion time for the survey is 30 minutes depending on your answers.
